The Barony of Debarros was created for Princess Fabiola of Mantua by her father in 1921. She was the first female member of the Princely Family to be granted a peerage in her own right which she held for the rest of her lifetime. As the Princess did not marry and had no children, the Barony became extinct when she died in 1999. With the announcement of the engagement of Princess Sofia (the only daughter of Hereditary Prince Amadeo) in August 2017, it was announced that the peerage would be created for a second time and gifted to the Princess by her grandmother on her wedding day. This is expected to take place in July 2018.
