Vice-President of the Government of Nouvelle Alexandrie

The Vice-President of the Government of Nouvelle Alexandrie is a senior official of the Council of State of Nouvelle Alexandrie and the second highest ranking officer of the executive branch of the federal government.

The Proclamation of Punta Santiago establishes the office of Vice President, using the term "Vice-Premier" for short, in Chapter 5, Article 33. In the event that the President is unavailable or incapacitated, the Vice-President represent the Premier and may deputise for them.

The office was established upon the signing of the Proclamation of Punta Santiago in 1685 AN. Its first holder was the Interim Vice-President Vicaquirao Alvarez, appointed in a transitional capacity by the King of the Federation, Manco Cápac. The current holder is Itziar Franco (SDLA), serving since 1703 AN.
